Night Fishing Tips – Check These Out Today!

let me start off by telling you about the following  bass night fishing tips that work and are loads of fun. If you have never tried fishing at night, you are really missing out.  Once I tried it for myself, I never turned back. Here is why, and the first reason is good enough, trust me.

    This one is REAL simple.

Fish hunt the most when skies are dark!  Just think about it.  If you want to catch more fish consistently, you go out and try to catch them when they are hungriest!  That is a no brainer and one of the biggest reasons night fishing is slowly gaining popularity. Night fishing tips like these are true and you will be plesently surpised.

Second reason: you have the water all to yourself because most people are LAZY bums. Now, I apologize if you are one of the ones that fall into the
“lazy” category.  (ok, maybe you’re not lazy, you just have a life outside of fishing) But seriously, when I go out on the water at night it is usually
just me, my buddy, mother nature, and a whole bunch of ravenous fish. What more can you ask for?  The fish are hungrier, and you have
your pick of any fishing spot on the water!  Case closed, best night fishing tips ever.

Try fishing at night, if you haven’t already.  I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Rod handling when you are fishing in the evening or morning hours is key for one reason:

Fish sense food at night using “sense” rather than sight. This is why it is so important to “pump” your rod to keep your bait kicking and create “motion” in the water.  Game fish will sense this, and it will stimulate more bites.  I guarantee it. Seriously, never let your bait stand still for more than 30 seconds at a time. One effective technique of doing this is to start with your bait about 15 feet down.  Lower it 5 feet at a time by first  aising the pole high above your head, and then let that bait flutter down.

Then slow your retrieve and bring the lure along.  You see, by causing a commotion early you may peak the interest of a game fish that will hone in on your position.  By slowing d

Here are some night fishing tips I already talked breifly about above.  Fish rely on their other senses at night to find and “hone in” on their prey. They must either “sense” wounded prey moving, or the smell of food. Well, you guessed it!  That is where “chumming” comes in. Here is how I do it.  Once I get a good “chum slick” going with lots of “blood and guts” (this REALLY stimulates game fish sense of smell and gets them very excited), I either drop my strip bait into the chum, or I fish live bait just outside of the chum slick, or at the bottom. I am telling you, chum works even better at night than it does during the day.  Fish rely on their senses to survive, and they are heightened at night because they are hungry.

Even if you are a fellow “chummer”, and these bass night fishing tips are allready known to you, hopefully this just reinforces that you are dong the right things to stimulate big game strikes. If you don’t typically chum – next time you take an evening fishing trip, make sure to set up a slick!own later, you give the fish an opportunity to locate and strike…
